Economic Partners manages a Resource Centre which was created in order to help entrepreneurs develop business plans and to obtain other information on various other business development issues.

As a Canada-Ontario Business Service Centre (COBSC) site, the Business Centre provides access to a broad range of business information and services in forms such as on-site library (books, magazines), on-site guided access to Internet based information (databases) and referral to other services and specialists as required. Information available includes:

• How to plan, register (Ontario Business Connect) and start a small business
• Government services and regulations affecting businesses
• Community profiles
• Economic and market information on your community, Northern Ontario, Canada, and the world
• Labour market rates and statistics
• Export advice and services
• Other specialized databases.

The Business Centre also has computers available to clients in order to search the Internet for information or to do work for their business. A good starting point to obtain more information is the web site "Strategis" of Industry Canada and Canada-Ontario Business Service Centre (COBSC).
